I don't know if the others are Austenish. I read The Way We Live Now and that one has a lot more politics and satire. <br /><br />Eva -- I impulsively ordered The Last Chronicle of Barset online because the library doesn't have it and I want to finish the entire series this year. I started the first one a couple of years ago and got stuck on it, so I can understand that. The Warden starts out slowly, but it's worth getting through because it sets up Barchester Towers so well, and it's quite short.
