Looking forward to those reviews! I just read my first Welty novel a few weeks ago and wasn't all that impressed, but I hear good things so I'm willing to give her another go. I read The House in Paris by Elizabeth Bowen a year or so ago - pretty good, and I love, love, love East of Eden. You've got a good looking year ahead... good luck!Roof Beam Readerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06792884580084363046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8027299943447728658.post-64220911678432211372011-12-24T12:18:39.300-05:002011-12-24T12:18:39.300-05:00Ooh, which Zolas did you get? And I'm not even going to say how envious I am of your empty TBR shelves.Karen K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13483190930383406559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8027299943447728658.post-66919454738340408342011-12-24T11:20:51.647-05:002011-12-24T11:20:51.647-05:00First off, I'm glad you found Adam's blog!...First off, I'm glad you found Adam's blog! Adam is awesome. :D Second, I love your list! I can't participate because 1) I do really bad with challenges that involve unchangeable lists, and 2) I have absolutely no books on my shelves that have been there and unread for at least a year. Before last week, I only had one unread book on there at all. Now, I have six, after your gift and a few Zolas I picked up at Half Price books on my anniversary. Even so, I don't even have a dozen to make up a list for Adam, much less ones that have been on my shelf prior to 2011. The only one on my shelf that has been there longer than a week is The Debacle, and I've only had that one since July or so!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07026099426503180472noreply@blogger.com
