(I don't care if an author talks about sex and sexuality or not.) His newest novel deals with similar themes but I think it's a much better book. I thought Snow Country was terrific by the way. I tried reading one of his books a few years ago, but I was also put off by the descriptions of sex and female sexuality, and so I abandoned it after a few chapters. Your review was very interesting, as it seems I'm not the only one who had that kind of reaction, but it has made me consider trying his work again, as I do like books that make for good discussion. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
