And I was amazed at what a great discussion we had, considering nobody loved it. And the sad thing was, not a single bookstore in town had another copy (I very nearly didn't get a copy in time for the discussion, as the library didn't have enough for everyone). Hopefully this won't become a forgotten book that goes out of print quickly.Karen K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13483190930383406559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8027299943447728658.post-23707855031530113782009-11-09T11:16:02.031-05:002009-11-09T11:16:02.031-05:00I have to say, this description intrigues me. Not everybody talked, but our moderater did an excellent job giving everyone a chance if they had something to say, and keeping such a large group under control, which is tough. It's the most people we've ever had, it's usually around 12.

And of course now we have to reconsider some of our choices for next year because the library may not have enough copies. But that might also make the group smaller, so it might all work out.Karen K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13483190930383406559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8027299943447728658.post-59547535232047789352009-11-06T10:44:11.525-05:002009-11-06T10:44:11.525-05:00Wow that's a lot of people! And actually, thinking back, I think that was more like 15 people.

This doesn't sound like my sort of book, honestly, but I"m glad you guys had a great discussion.
