These should all be classics that were originally written in a language other than your primary language; that is, if you are a native English speaker, it should be a classic written in another language other than English. If you are not a native English speaker, it could be in English (or any other language, other than your primary language). If you want to read the book in its original language, that's fine too!

DeleteI chose another read aloud for this category, Seacrow Island by Astrid Lindgren. It was simply a lovely book!
ReplyDeleteI struggled at first with this fantasy novel but as I got into it I realized what an amazing argument it is for feminism's goals and how timely it is in many ways.
ReplyDeleteWell, now I can say I've read Canterbury Tales! Didn't love most of it, skipped a couple stories, but there are one or two individual stories I liked enough to re-read sometime.
