Challenge Link-Up Post: 19th Century Classic
Please link your reviews for your 19th Century Classic here. This is only for the 19th Century Classic category. If you do not have a blog, or somewhere public on the internet where you post book reviews, please write your mini-review/thoughts in the comments section. If you like, you can include the name of your blog and/or the title of the book in your link, like this: "Karen K. @ Books and Chocolate (Pride & Prejudice)."
Before I link up, I just wanted to check that a book I recently read can count for this category -- Great Classic Humor: 27 Complete Stories by Favorite 19th Century Authors" -- a bit unconvential, but seems like it would be OK? The audiobook was recently published (obviously) but the collection of stories are from the correct time period. There isn't a rule they have to be novels, is there? Thanks!
Yes, as long as all the stories in the collection are from the 19th century, it fits the category. I might have to add short stories to the challenge if I do it again next year.

DeleteGreat, thanks!
DeleteJust linked my Goodreads review of Oliver Twist. As a Dickens fan, unsurprisingly I loved it.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites by Dickens!
DeleteI just posted the review to my 19th century classic - Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope!
