Challenge Link-Up Post: 20th Century Classic
Please link your reviews for your 20th Century Classic here. This is only for the 20th Century Classic category. If you do not have a blog, or somewhere public on the internet where you post book reviews, please write your mini-review/thoughts in the comments section. If you like, you can include the name of your blog and/or the title of the book in your link, like this: "Karen K. @ Books and Chocolate (East of Eden)."
The 20th century book was my first for the challenge! There were so many to choose from that I almost couldn't decide! I guess I could have done it for the movie adaptation one as well...hah!
I accidentally linked War of the Worlds earlier before realizing it was a 19th century classic instead. I have however now linked my actual 20th century classic review (Lord of the Flies) so please ignore the first one. thanks!
I read The Man Who Lost Himself and loved it. Has very few ratings on Goodreads, 9 to be exact, so if anybody is looking for a Lesser Known book for the 2015 challenge, I'd suggest picking this one up!
Not sure if my comment worked....OpenID is how I post, so sometimes it and blogger don't speak well to each other....
Loved this selection, The Man Who Lost Himself. For those participating in the 2015 challenge, I suggest this for your Lesser Known novel, it has only 9 ratings over on Goodreads, but don't let that deter you!

ReplyDeleteSorry, I first accidentally linked my review and comment about The Priory in the 19th century category. Please delete if you are able.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I loved it. This was my introduction to Whipple and I look forward to reading more from her.
Hello Karen, I made a mistake - somehow #10 linked before I got the correct URL in the box - can you delete it please!?!

ReplyDeleteThis wasn't my favorite Steinbeck novel, but it's still good!
ReplyDeleteJust linked up my post for Peter Pan! :) - Maggie @ macarons & paperbacks (formerly "An American in France")
