Just added my first book for the year. Good to have a few days holiday to kick start my reading.
ReplyDeleteJust finished Castle Rackrent. An excellent novel from the very late 18th century, quite modern with not one but two unreliable narrators and a text which includes commentary on itself.
ReplyDeleteJust posted my review of The Small House at Allington. I just loved it!
ReplyDeleteI love Trollope! I'm reading Phineas Redux right now and I just love it!
DeleteCan you check your link? It keeps sending me back to my home page!
DeleteHi Karen,
DeleteI have re-linked the review. Can you delete my first entry? Thanks!
I just linked my review for Cold Comfort Farm. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to comment. Some weeks ago I left a link for Paradise Lost. That title did not convinced me fully about fitting this category.
ReplyDeleteSo, after resisting Middlemarch for quite some time, I finally relented. I've loved every single minute of this novel I listened to in a wonderful audio.
I read Helen MacInnes's Assignment in Brittany. I had never heard of the author and was surprised to find out how popular she used to be. I'm planning to read some more of her books.
ReplyDeleteI linked my 2nd entry to my review for A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
ReplyDeleteI just added my link for Middlemarch.
ReplyDeleteJust posted my review of Framley Parsonage. Another Trollope novel and another delight! Can I just say I love Trollope!
ReplyDeleteHowards End finished! :) Amy
ReplyDelete9th classic finished!
ReplyDeleteI read Anne of Green Gables and love it!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites!
DeleteKaren - I screwed up. I posted the wrong post to this page. :(
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about it. Can you repost it, and I'll delete the wrong one?
DeleteI finally read a Jane Austen book and enjoyed it!!!
