First book of the year done! I'm still thinking about what I truly thought of it, as it was a lot to process.
ReplyDeleteMy first book of the 2019 Challenge really engaged me. Sylvina Bullrich was a powerful Argentinian writer of the 1950s and 60s. I would never have found her if was not the requirement to read a book from the Americas. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI choose Walden for this category, since Thoreau is still such an American legend. Whew, lots of pre-conceptions were blown on their heads though.
ReplyDeleteI chose Mark Twain for this category. Even though I haven't read anything of his, I chose a less commonly known publication - The Diaries of Adam and Eve.
ReplyDeleteFifth book of the year done!
ReplyDeleteCould you please check my link? I added it, but not I can't see it on the linky list, so I tried to add again, but it says already added, even though I can't see it?
ReplyDeleteHere is my link in case we can't fix this glitch.

I chose Anne of Green Gables for this category.
ReplyDeleteI read The Death of Artemio Cruz by Carlos Fuentes. Not my favorite, but I can get something out of any book I read.
ReplyDeleteLinked to my review of The Home-Maker.
ReplyDeleteFinished One Hundred Years of Solitude and had the odd experience of enjoying and hating this book at the same time.
ReplyDeleteMy review of: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
ReplyDeleteMalcolm Lowry's Under The Volcano. Whew! Good, I thought, but grim.
