Finished Picture of Dorian Gray today. Sadly, it did not live up to my expectations, though I think there were other reasons for that.

ReplyDeleteI read Uncle Tom's Cabin. Can't believe it took this long. Being a Canadian I needed to remind myself though I am proud of our part in rescuing escaped slaves our record is not spotless.

My pic for this category ended up being the Miss Marple Complete Short Stories collection. Such fun, and a perfect way to get your daily dose of classic sleuthing!
ReplyDeleteI must admit that there were times when I thought I might not make it through this wordy tome, but the characters were so interesting and the devilry of them so inviting that I did finish it and thought it worth the effort.
