Please link your reviews for the Classic Play here. This is only for the Classic Play category. This includes any play that was written or performed at least 50 years ago, and should be a work that was originally created for the stage (not a book adaptation). Plays are eligible in this category only.
If you do not have a blog, or somewhere public on the internet where you post book reviews, please write your mini-review/thoughts in the comments section. If you like, you can include the name of your blog and or/the title of the book in your link, like this: "Karen K. @ Books and Chocolate (The Importance of Being Earnest)."
I read the play ' The Importance of Being Earnest'. This is the first time I read a play and it started really good. It surely has inspired me to read more plays.
ReplyDeleteI read that recently also and loved it. I always think plays won't be enjoyable to read, but they often are!
DeleteI read a funny play about the suffrage movement by George Bernard Shaw titled Press Cuttings!
ReplyDeleteI have found some play scripts hard to read because I cannot conjure up the setting. That was not the case here and while I won't say that the play was fun, it was very thought provoking and stayed with me.
ReplyDeleteMy review of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof And with that, I've completed the 2021 Challenge.
ReplyDeleteWell done, I think you're first! I'll post the links for the wrap-ups this week.
