I forgot to mention on my post (Number 7) that I read Slaughterhouse 5. I can't explain exactly why I liked it so much- it is not what I consider to be the type of book I would normally choose. Fascinating story! I would re-read this book, which, for me, is high praise.
ReplyDeleteI also forgot to mention the title (Jennifer set a trend...her fault). I read The Recognitions by William Gaddis. To be brief...Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI read The Sturdy Oak, which is the second composite novel edited Elizabeth Jordan. The Sturdy Oak has 14 chapters each written by a different author. It's a cohesive story about women's suffrage.
ReplyDeleteBrave New World was as awful as I remembered and also very worth reading again.
