I listened to Little Women for this prompt and really enjoyed it! 4/5 :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I finally read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall!
ReplyDeleteI read My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell for this one, and it was a sheer delight of a book! I can't wait to read the rest in this series!
ReplyDeleteA messed up family, but a very good read. My review of: The Castle of Otranto
ReplyDeleteI read Iola Leroy by Frances E. W. Harper (1892) for a different perspective on what makes a family.
ReplyDeleteI had owned this book for years but had never read it until now. It's a daunting book to read because the family it deals with is so dysfunctional. I am glad this Challenge finally got me to read it, but I can't imagine re-reading it.
ReplyDeleteI read The Whole Family, which is a collaborative novel edited by Elizabeth Jordan. Each of the twelve chapters focuses on a different family member and is written by a different author. It was an interesting experiment of a book to read!
